On February 1st, 1953 the master of engineering Hans Pfefferkorn founded together with the merchant Albert Gerhard the company Pfefferkorn & Co in Frankfurt/Main.
In the years 1964 and 1970 the second generation Mr. Bernd Pfefferkorn and Mr. Viktor Reiter took over the management of the company. Following to the relocation of the company headquarters from Frankfurt/Main to Simmern in 1971, several expansions of production and office areas were carried out.
The tooling department was expanded, a continious and increasing role in the accompaniment of its own activities and as a recognized partner in the plastic injection moulding industry. With effect from January 1st 2013, the company Pfefferkorn was divested to the Schneider icas group.
Under the roof of the world market leader for champagne bottle closures, the company continious to develop. The reorientation led to new developments in the field of sparkling, wine closures and technical articles. We now serve a growing number of customers in the construction industry, pharmaceutical, automotive, medical devices and other industries. Here we are the contact for sophisticated new constructions, the mould making and the production of these articles. Through the international network of the Schneider/Icas group, Pfefferkorn is a recognized partner of many global clients.
